Fire Hydrant Replacement

Request for Proposals

 

Sealed proposals will be accepted by the Price County Airport Manager at 1215 N Airport Road, Phillips, WI 54555 until Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 12:00 p.m.

 

Proposals may be submitted via attachment in an email labeled “Fire Hydrant Replacement” or by mail in a sealed envelope marked “Fire Hydrant Replacement” to the office of the Price County Highway Commissioner, 704 North Lake Avenue, Phillips, WI 54555. All Attachments and envelopes shall not be opened until after Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 12:00 p.m.

 

PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Mobilize to the job site and excavate to replace fire hydrant
  • Scope of work to include:
    • Provide and install new 7’0 bury fire hydrant red in color
    • Provide dewatering equipment and all trench safety devices for excavating in wet conditions
    • Backfill excavation with clean dry material
    • Restore lawn area with topsoil, seed, and mulch
    • Must pay prevailing wage and buy American
