Safety, Lockdown & Emergency Procedures

  1. Inmates will return to their cells in an orderly fashion when they are notified of lockdown.
  2. Inmates may be placed in lockdown status at any time for safety, security or maintenance reasons.
  3. The Price County Jail is equipped with an audio and video monitoring system used for the safety and security of inmates and staff.
  4. The Price County Jail has a safety plan in place for fires and natural disasters.
  5. Each cell block is equipped with an intercom button to notify staff of an emergency.
  6. Lockdown will occur at 11:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and at 1:00 a.m. on Friday, Saturday and holidays.
