About the Trail
Overview
This very scenic trail is located in the Phillips School Forest and consists of 5 loops ranging from gently rolling to steep climbs and winds through a diverse forest and an open meadow. Loop 1 is an intermediate loop, loops 2, 3 and 4 are expert with uphill climbs, and loop 5 is good for beginners.
There is no fee required.
Location
- W9199 N. Worcester Road: Located 4 miles from downtown Phillips, go east on County Road H, then south on Big Elk Road, then continue south on North Worcester Road, the trail is a short distance on the west side of the road. You can open the gate and drive into the parking lot; it is 1/3 mile to the trail.

There are 5 designated snowshoe trails. Please do not snowshoe on the tracks set for diagonal skiing.
Fat Biking
Fat Bikes are welcome on the singletrack trail which is groomed for fat biking. Please be courteous and stay off of the portion of trail that is tracked for cross-country skiing.
