Classification

  1. All inmates to be housed in the Price County Jail will be classified during their first 24 hours of incarceration.

  2. The Price County Jail classification system has three tiers; Maximum, Medium and Minimum Security.

  3. Classification results are based upon many factors, including current offenses, past criminal convictions and institutional behavior.

  4. An inmate may be reclassified up or down a level during their incarceration based on judicial or behavioral changes.
